  1. The Silver Chair: Kursi Perak (Chronicles of Narnia, #6)The Silver Chair: Kursi Perak by C.S. Lewis
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Title: The Silver Chair (Indonesian title: Kursi Perak)
    Author: C. S. Lewis
    Publisher: Gramedia Pustaka Utama
    Pages: 320 pages
    Published: October, 2005

    From Goodreads:

Jill and Eustace must rescue the Prince from the evil Witch.

NARNIA...where owls are wise, where some of the giants like to snack on humans, where a prince is put under an evil spell...and where the adventure begins.

Eustace and Jill escape from the bullies at school through a strange door in the wall, which, for once, is unlocked. It leads to the open moor...or does it? Once again Aslan has a task for the children, and Narnia needs them. Through dangers untold and caverns deep and dark, they pursue the quest that brings them face and face with the evil Watch. She must be defeated if Prince Rillian is to be saved.

    Review
Finally I make my progress towards finishing the Narnia series. I found this book less interesting than the other Narnia books I've read. The storyline is fine and I like the characters too, but I wish there is more tense in the story.

I think that there are many symbols in the novel, the Lady of the Green Kirtle, the silver chair itself, there are many things to be thought while reading this book.

Btw, my favorite part of the book is when Eustace, Jill, Puddleglum, and Prince Rilian face the Lady's magic. It was interesting to see how things turn upside-down for them.

Oh man. I love the Narnia books. I haven't read them since I was a kid but I always thought I should go back and read through the series again. Great review!
